If we go to West Seattle, can we actually go a little ways into West Seattle? Or maybe somewhere else that requires some distance??

Oh, and we ride in

I'm going to do something very stupid tonight.

With any luck it will result in hospital visits. ;)

If you go to South Park, go to the playfields at the community center, where my frisbee team will be playing (and hopefully dominating) our semi-final playoff game.

Whether you come or not, I'll try to join you afterwards. I have many, many vegetables to eat.

I like Eric's idea: Through Georgetown(beer), south park(taco truck)(beer), west marginal trail(beer), alki(beer). I'm off work today so plan on (pre beer)at whisky bar. Any takers?

i, the artist formerly known as ben, propose an experimental pointy3 ride concept.

we ride nothing but side streets and residential areas, and who's ever in front chooses the direction. we change it up as much as we like.
we stay in seattle proper, no super west seattle, no retarded north end, just the parts of seattle we never see.

no destination, but i have tons of ideas.
stop riding when we get tired. put on miles, but not go anywhere.

fuck yay!

Well, I know west seattle side streets, but not so much other neighborhoods. Also, staying off arterials will leave us with some wikkid hillclimbs, so be ready. I've already climbed up the back side of cap hill on a fixed gear once, and I don't really care to do it again.

I know this sounds crazy and all, but the Two Bells has much better food options than the Whiskey Bar.

Does this mean you are going to ride bikes with us tonight? Or are you just an internet phenomenon?

I'm all for Alki. I'll have my sister in tow, and she doesn't ride bikes much, so I'll be a bit slower than usual... no more hauling ass. Gotta watch out for the sis. Anyway, i'm all for: outdoor drinking, going to parks, and riding bikes. I'm against: going to a bar (at least immediately) and aimless, hilly riding. I'm fully prepared to get dropped, unless you guys decide not to be jerks and to wait for me and my slow sister.

I know they have better food and BEER than the Whisky Bar. It is at 4th and Bell (2313 4th). Pre Beer moved to Two Bells it is only a few blocks from Westlake. I will get a table.
Lee 6ish should be fine and who ever else. Lucia the Bells has very good food.

Now that was a ride! Westlake to beacon hill - through the bum jungle down to georgetown - bread dumpster and across the 1st ave bridge and up along the duwamish and into west seattle to alki.

Then Gretchen, Drew and I rolled up to the Kings in ballard and met some wonderful people for more drinks.

I have exactly five hours and twenty five minutes to sleep before work, and I intend to make the most of them!
