derbying ben was a capital-B Bad Idea, in case any of you were curious. corn fed, midwest bred indeed. hooray for drinking and riding past at least eight police officers on my way home though.
i strongly suspect that the final jaeger shot is going to be rectroactively known as a 'do not want' come tomorrow morning.

1) riding around Georgetown to Alki was hella fun, even if people kept trying to puss out.
2) I'm sorry I missed the Boxcar
3) I'm not sorry I went home and went to sleep relatively sober and hydrated.

jesus, that was a fast response. Awesome time, that's the most popped tires I've ever in one night. Damn.
Yeah, blame the people who led us down that damn gravel trail. That was bloody brilliant.
Good ride, though. My sister didn't seem to hate me *too* much when she got up to get on a plane at 7AM this morning... thx for not completely dropping us.

If you get flats from riding on gravel you should probably get better tires.

I've noticed that people who have been riding with the .83 for a while usually end up having fatter tires and cross/touring bikes for just that reason.
I also just carried my bike over the rough stuff.

i wished we had a ramp to launch over that fence with though. that would've been crucial.

That's the spirit.
What'd justin do with his ramp for jumping bikes into greenlake? Does he use it on the boat?

THERE IS A BOAT?
WE SHOULD LAUNCH (shitty childrens') BIKES INTO THE FUCKING LAKE/SOUND BEFORE IT GETS TOO COLD. OH MY GOD.

the jumping over would have been awesome. the totally eating shit when failing to land, not so much. that's why it's better to jump into lakes than gravel!

I got rid of it when we moved aboard. I could whip up another real quick. There is a good dock on eastlake near the seaplane tour.

I think we're all still waiting for photos of Henry and the banana.
All in all, ridiculously fun ride.

Maybe i'm just a discriminating asshole, but i think i'd rather jump into Lake Wa than lake Union or Greenlake. The docks down at Stan Sayers Pits would work but there's a ton of grass that grows under the water there.
Just be sure to twine a couple life vests to the bike so you can jump it more than once.
When I left the boxcar, all I had to do was head home over the Fremont bridge, except.... Damn thing was closed! Or, open, rather -- into the air. One trip around the lake later and I was fast asleep.

Honestly, you might as well give up on the fruit fucker and make a dancing polka-dotted panda usericon.
