For those of you on the north end, this is why I originally joined the Phinney Neighborhood Association. Note: you do not have to live anywhere near Phinney Ridge, and I have yet to actually pay any money for tools, although I have never borrowed anything huge. Generally the people manning the library 'desk' are also available for free advice on how to use the tools or how to do minor home repairs.
However, I have no reason to believe they know anything about bicycles.

Indeed, the Phinny tools were an insparation. If anyone wants to list their tools let me know and I will post them. And, no, you don't have to live in West Sizzle, but most of you will be living here soon anyway, especially if you want to buy a house as the only affordable ones left are over here. The tool sharing idea was mostly for home-owners, but renters or anyone needs tools and everyone doesn't have to own the same tool. Consume less!
