where to? Fun ride to west seattle last thurs, tuesday went to carkeek. Who wants to go say, northgate taco truck to matthews beach to laurelhurst?

Or maybe up pike to 15th, cut over to interlaken, then down over montlake to fremont, and then ballard, and then Discovery Park.

Why yes, my single speed is broken again, why do you ask?

Also, I don't want to get too far outside of seattle on a weeknight ride, simply because I might get to ride back drunk.

ya know, it only takes about an hour of steady riding to make Lynnwood. Richmond Beach is due for another visit from us, also.

So there's the missing parts of that trail on my way home!

The map lies, though, not all of the 2006 stuff is done yet. The Aurora overpass at 157th is finished and pretty nice.

The Interurban Trail is complete like Generalissimo Francisco Franco is alive. Hooray for Shoreline and their glowy bridge (and the nearby taco truck), but boo to everyone else concerned, including the City of Seattle.

Even the completed sections in Everett blow goats; it's like Lake Forest Park, except instead of some officer telling you to go 10 mph, there are ridiculous chicane gates forcing you to drop down to 3mph lest you go too fast while crossing SW 127th Ct Pl Dr Circle Rd NE (Private Road)

Let's do Johnson Pit next week. I'm busy packing tonight and would like to lead this ride out. Go to Heart Attack Beach tonight. There is a great biker bar down there if you get there before the bartender gets bored and wants to go home.

Here is how to get to Johnson Pit #30. Just a hair under 20 miles, with no significant hills until the last 5 miles.

I'm sure this will drastically alter your plans: I will once again be playing frisbee at South Park, this time for the (B-Pool) Championship. If you're heading south or near my home (NE Seattle), I'll try to join up, otherwise have a good ride, and don't follow Derrick.
