Speaking of bread dumpsters, I stumbled across this one on greenwood & 70th a few weeks back. It's an oroweat & entenmann's distribution building as I recall.
Best part about it? The bread is tagged with expiration dates on the plastic tabs. The english muffins I nabbed still had 2-3 days to go!

My list of highlights:
*Aaron tightening my front wheel quick-release lever at Westlake so I didn't have to die last night (thank you)
*Feeling good about carrying a first aid kit (hey, let's do that first aid kit alleycat!)
*Noticing the tiny windows on the Concorde at the Museum of Flight
*Chips and salsa in a park in the dark
*The hill that kept going up, up, up
*My bike and its many, many gears
*That bright, bright moon
*Lots of happy singing, especially by Lee
*Riding fast down International Blvd
*Eating dumpstered sourdough with non-dumpstered butter at home
*Going to sleep and dreaming of bike rides

I totally should've gone and I was totally planning on it, but at the end of the day my boss took us out for drinks. Thinking I had plenty of time I went, turned out I was barely able to walk by the time 7 rolled around, after 4 all too strong Long Islands and a couple pitchers of beer.

That's tequila, courtesy of J. It was my reward for getting road rash.

I think maybe we need a seminar for folks on how to properly use a QR.
I see loose ones all the time and fix them.
My favorite of all time was the kid getting on the ski lift at Whistler and I saw his QR lever SWINGING as he rode his bike! I stopped him, clamped it properly and sent him on his way. His mom thanked me later!

Asked and answered multiple times. Or as the current TOS states
