I'd be down for just "Point 83" or ".83" or the sprocket and opener logo. I just the idea of having a cycling jersey that says something but isn't "Cliff Bar," or "Nokia."

What about other people? Do you want something more complex or unique? A dead badger head oozing goo down stalagmites spelling out the club name? A whole pie minus ln e plus a 40 of PBR? Actually, I kind of like that idea.

(Picture of a pie) - e + (Picture of a 40)

Once we all have matching jerseys, we need a secret hand shake.

tshirts, jerseys, etc. im definately not a pro screenprinter, but we should have good results.

ill be making a huge pile of 6x6 inch patches in the next week or so, ill hand those out for free to whoever wants them.

Alright then, I'm on it. I'm going with this one:

http://www.customcyclewear.com/eurocap.htm

because that's what I want. $7.50 a piece, red and black, logo on the front, "Point83" on the bill, same or ".83" on the sides, something like "I <3 Beer" on the back. PM me if you have any other kick ass design ideas or if you want some. I'll keep a list of who wants how many and start getting money from people at rides, when the time is right, I'll make the order.

Well they don't have wool ones on that site, and I'm a fan of those because they seem like they would fit rather well under a helmet. Also, they look pretty stretchy, so you might be able to squeeze your oversized grape into one. However, they do have these:

which are kind of cool.

1) is the screen roughly 5x5" then?
2) will the ink we have stay on vinyl? i've kinda wanted a tasteful green .83 logo on my kozmo bag. we can test it on yours first to see if it works!

Flask and cage will be $45.00 plus shipping. If you only want a flask or a cage, we can sort that too. I think the way to resolve this is put up a deadline for ordering. We've been jawing about this for a while now. I know the jersey thing is a little more involved, but I can order cages and flasks today if I had the funds. If everyone is OK with it, I can start a separate thread for flasks and cages, pick a deadline, and start taken money (cash only, sorry). Hell, I'll even come meet you on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.

Bumping this...

A deadline should be set for the flasks/cages maybe?

I'm in for both.

we tried to do my bag but it failed, should prolly make a smaller screen to do bag and such. also you should use acrylic paint on vinyl and not the fabric paint...

i think the biggest problem with screenprinting that bag of yours dave was that it wasnt flat, we were pushing piles of paint through it, and it was just going through and filling in the gaps. i wonder if we could get a bag flat enough?

for a test on vinyl, we should hit the or dumpster and get some sample sheets, and test some paint on those before doing another bag.

exactly why a smaller screen may work better, the buckles and straps and what not kinda get in the way. another option we could try is rotating the image.

let me borrow that logo transparency and I'll make up another screen. which I should do anyway, after some reading it seems as though a single coated photo emulsion screen is only good for runs of 300-400 prints.

I would like the long sleeve XL to be able to wear over shirt. Any color not so much on the blue though. Green red black ok.
This will end with beers for back ok
Embroidery more expensive longer lasting, but will go with flock if thats what people can afford.
Let me know when you need money!

ro...i'll ad you to my ever expanding list!

All...after the camp trip i'll put an order in to get sizing samples on my buck. After we have folks decide sizes i'll finalize the list and figure out costs and place the order. Maybe before halloween, if it all comes together right.

Excellent.

I want stuff too. I can fedex a shirt to someone (Derrick?), if they can send a screenprinted version back to me (SASE included, of course).

Also, if anyone's interested, I could try to include some of that maggotty cheese Remington told us about, though I have yet to find it in a single shop around town.

Maybe tasty chocolates would be better?

btw - i'm sure it's been said before, but you fortunate folks are going for a bike ride in

We can make an order with whatever we have, put a link from the site, and then people can buy whenever. Sure it costs more, but then we don't have to deal with the flake factor, the same flake factor which seems to have busted this thread.

Hey Ben can you somehow incorporate a Pod into the design? Or a log cabin?

While Henry goes ahead with this:

We could make say, stickers with "Calvin" pissing on something, or the "Calvin" praying in front of a doobie, a bike, and various alcohols, or something equally offensive.

Or just a big horsecock with "point83" cumming out the end.
