I have room in my car for two more bicycles on the rack, and three passengers.
Plus, I'll be guaranteed sober, so feel free to hit the biergarten hard after (if?) you race.
Even if you don't want to race, cyclocross is totally spectator friendly, and a blast to cheer on.
Objections? Don't do spandex? Don't worry. Some dude on a 29er and wearing dickies kicked my arse last Monday at SeaTac. Don't have a race bike? Don't worry, there's a Huffy class (bikes must be at least 30 lbs), although you may want to make sure you have cross suitable tyres. Mountain bikes without barends work well and are legal.
PM me if interested, or give me a phone call in the afternoons. 3 6 0 . 2 8 6 . 8 5 4 9. SeattleCyclocross.com for more info.

I will be in the Balearic islands getting over my fucked up and pissy mood.
we can carPoo for starcrossed. I will be tanned rested and ready and in a much better mood than I am now. Still gonna get my ass Kicked at the race... but yeah.
point83 should become known as the drunkest spectators at the cyclocross races... it would greatly improve the sport as it stands rightnow in the pacific northwest. As a matter of fact... if y'all got drunk AND wore eyeliner... it would be a bit like how Seattle used to be. Not that eyeliner was a trend... just that being fucking wierd was a little more normal. wait... er... ah what the fuck is my logic doing...
I should go pack my bags.

I'm kind of curious about cyclocross as it was one of the first things my coworker suggested to me once I started cyclocommuting to work.
I'd be down for getting drunk, wearing eyeliner, and watching some cyclocross, though I wish I had some suitable equipment; it may be time to stash some cash for more toys.

Does anybody know what the course looks like up there.
I haven't done any training this summer for cross at all and I don't wanna puke on myself that early in the morning.
If there's not a lot of run ups I'll be going for sure. Where are you guys leaving from? I'll most likely be driving by myself if I can't con a friend to come along. What do ya think, about 2.5-3 hour drive?
I haven't seen the course, but their course description says it's a faster course. Faster usually implies fewer "defining features" and more rideable sections with more defined lines.
As for barfing, I wouldn't worry. Last Monday, a lot of people seemed out of shape. I doubt a week of training made too much of a difference.
