What else is there to say? Pass this along, got a friend who is new to riding? bring them! Dress them up, themes are good, great even.

like Justin said, this is a great time every year. Expensive, but he puts a ton of time and resources into putting together an amazing party and scavenger hunt. Come in costume, plan on riding as hard as you want for legitmate prizes and zany races.
just don't get too drunk to race, like Henry did once.

Dean, Henry and I were all set to ride as Teen Girl Squad, and then Master of My Universe got all trashed in the parking lot waitin for the race to start. Dean and I won somethign like 4th place and took home some used bike frames as prizes.

There are some really, really creative costumes at this! I was doorman last year at the Bat Cave, it was awesome!
Where is the end?

Does this event get a sticky, too?
And I assume that it's actually the 2007 masquerade, right? ;-)

2007 is in disguise as 2008.

I'll be going in early so I can leave early to make this.
I'm also game for team action if any one is looking. Is there a team size limit?

While "team action" falls under my questionable phrases category, let's do it!

This team's gonna be rad.
Any theme ideas?
Edible animals?
Childrens super heros?
Insects?
Caricatures of old school point eight three-ers? (Just think of the fun!)

I love the sound of this event.
Anyone want to think/sew/glue/throw up ideas with me on Tues? So far mine mostly involve cardboard, shag carpet, hair... and bad puns.

Hmmm, Oct 27th my Birthday. How about the old man team, high water, high waisted brown polyester pants, food stained white short sleave shirts with clip on bow tie. Oh yes old bald man masks (then I don't have to wear one!).

Did I hear mormons? They ride bikes, too... Just add a small black backpack and you're set.
Who can make matching name tags? I claim Elder Smith.

That time of year, I can offer up 16 or so dead tomato vines.
Also dead pumpkin vines, but those are kinda prickly.

You know, it didn't occur to me that pickles fall under a technical sub-category of vegetables. It goes without saying that I will not be a pickled cucumber. (this corndog substitution thing is ... bah!)

okie dokie. Who is putting together a (competitive) team and would like to have me along for the ride? I'm open to any costume idea, I just want to be able to pre-register and not stress about team building night-of.
