Yes! My new hometown FTW! That guy is lucky the driver didn't let loose with her nine and bust a cap in his ass, which is legal here so I've heard.

there is something to be said about "no harm no foul". sure the bus might have been in the wrong, but he wasnt hurt, he could have saved himself a fuckload of trouble.
ive been on the both sides of these things plenty. several times ive planted myself right in front of a car and given them a good talking to (putting it lightly), and several times ive just tallied it up to me getting away without a scratch and went on my day.
i understand how angry the guy could have been, but his day would have probably gone better if he either yelled then moved on, or smashed a bus window then went on with his day.
cops dont do anything if someone "almost" causes an accident.

It's strange to say it but I think bikes are taking off in LA and hopefully incidents like these are growing pains that will become rarer as everyone gets used to each other.(see midnightridazz.com, they're lame here but a fuckin empire in LA). A few really useful bike paths and lanes have shown lots of people that bikes are a great way to get around such a flat, sunny city, however, a lot of places, like Hollywood Blvd., are really useful roads for cyclists (you end up on it if you're in west LA and want to get into the hills, or to get across the top of west LA quickly) but have absolutely no space and really fast traffic.
PS only bike experience I had on hollywood was in my squid days when a woman shouted "nice legs" at a stop light.
PPS In what other city could you draft off a late night bus for miles?
