OK, so I just ordered a pair of front tracks from Nashbar. For some inexplicable reason, Nashbar sent me 3 racks and charged me $0.00 for the third.
They're not for touring, by any means - I'd limit the load to 10-15 pounds, tops. They bolt onto the front brake mounts and the fender attachment on the top of the fork. Just the thing for carrying a first aid kit/lunch/repair tools/beer. The rack goes with a nice little bag that I got (sadly no free bags for me).
If anyone wants one of these, it's up for grabs. If you're feeling generous, give me a beer in trade or something.
