honestly i feel like they came up with the name first and then designed the bike around it.

the new surly colors look great though: neon orange 1x1 and the return of the green long haul trucker. finally we can get a little more variety up in this place.

the crank bros MTB wheelsets were pretty hot as well, if you do a little clicking through. I like anything with a palate color named "Iodine"

At twice the price of a regular crosscheck it isn't going to include the case. The case that they show in those photos is the $407 S&S case. So about $850 extra over a normal Crosscheck to have one that you can fly with.

I had a S&S bike and they are nice if you are one bike only type. If you don't mind owning multiple bikes then a folder makes more sense in my mind.

They are available starting in Jan. Cost at QBP will be ~$800 frame/fork. Not sure what that makes out to in retail.
