Where the hell do you kids get your fancy wool pants these days? I wanna stay warm & look cool too!

The army surplus store usually has good ones, but they're sewn with space for 3 of my asses. Good for Derrick maybe, but I can't eat that many corndogs.

goodwill., value village for dress pants.
surplus store, just buy 'em small.
if you want new ones, http://www.swrvecycling.com/ has some, and I've been pretty pleased with their stuff. You can also check out http://www.bicyclefixation.com/ for some wool knickers, and I bet the retro-grouches at http://www.rivbike.com/ have some woolies and shit.

I tend to purchase either short legged pants or larger waisted pants as long as the material is right and then chop them down with the old sewing machine.

some of you know Misia, Jason's wife. She sews. Her studio is in the same space as Mobius. You could have some pants altered, or her specialty is making custom ones, just for your ass.

Mondays are good days to pickup pants at the downtown Goodwill off of Dearborn.

Plus, I'm sure if we get throw together another sewing party alterations would be welcome. My hands had plenty of idle time to drink and eat at the last sewing party after I finished my own project.

cheap answer is goodwill

expensive answer is bicycle fixation (bicyclefixation.com)

I have some of both. The bicycle fixation ones are nicer, but perhaps not 7-10x nicer. The waistband and knees are designed for cycling and seem to work better on the bike.

I also have a pair of the hemp ones -- we'll see how they do in the rain this evening.
