I might be there this week, but honestly I'm a little intimidated around those guys. I've got to work on my wheelies a little more.

I'll show up, but I'm riding my road bike and wearing my helmet.

Does riding 1100 miles in 8 days on a fixie count as an eligible best trick?

Didn't think so.

I'm going to portland tonight, so maybe not fast friday. I have a geared road bike, and the paddy wagon i out of commission until I get my wheel re-laced.

Awesome.

I hope to break my FF cherry tonight. Oh, great story, here it goes: Last time I thought I was going to FF, I found out it was in Portland, and didn't go. /story

Funny, I totally forgot that I was working tonight, so I'm holed up in an office while all of this fun is being had. Maybe next month...

I see the vegetablizer has been replaced with the... anusilizer?

For those that missed out, Fast Friday took place on top of the 10 story parking garage at 1st & Columbia. Amazing view of the sound and the city and there wasn't a stray car or pedestrian to get in the way the entire time.

The Cadence overlords acknowledged the hipster roots of FF when a close race was put to a crowd decision. "Remember, this is not a popularity contest. Now, raise your hand if you think team X won."

Some of the guys really do have impressive bike handling skills. Hockey stops, rear wheel pogoing, a little bicycle ballet, and a good fierceness in a foot-down variation involving U-locks.

Unless Lando comes and talks to me about it, I'll announce November's FF here too.

Yeah, FF was hella coo. This one guy did 100 pogos. Ladies, lookout, that's some stamina!!! A bunch of people crashed in the sprint, which made it like bike nascar!
