Dickensonian hellhole, anyone?

I know some decent Floridians, but they've run away to Washington.

The cops there will pull over cyclists for riding on the road.

Bacon is a vegetable. Problem solved.

I'm banned from cooking fake bacon at my friends house after filling their home with it's wonderful scent which they claim lasted for days and days.

I stand by it; it goes well on quesadillas if prepared crispy, though I can't stand it too much on its own.

fakin is even worse as that disgusting canadain knock off overly salted ham that they call bacon. it's a fucking crime is what it is.

I love anthony bourdain.
I've known and loved Vegetarians. Only one of them could resist real bacon, not that water injected, fatty skin flap that most groceries sell. Bacon should be thick cut! Thick cut means 5mm thick and marbled with fat, not only fat. Grr... cheap bacon makes me Angry!

I'm down with Tony, I just can’t stand the feel of shredding lumps of sinew between my teeth and that wonderful coating of fat that your mouth gets, particularly after laying off the animal fats for a while then starting up again, which makes me feel dirty inside. Not the good kind of dirty involving machine lube, actual dirt, girls, or any combination of the prior, but more of a I-haven’t-bathed-in-a-week, natural, kind of dirty… greasy… all brought on by a simple meal.

I more down with Mr. Bourdain’s flagrant spirit of indulgence, overdrinking, and joy for life.

And I'm rarely symptomatic with any sort of cold, I just carry it with me and spread the love.

I turn my back on the this thread for five hours and it turns into a veggie/vegan bashing free-for-all. How could I have missed it? I love bashing on veggies and vegans, but this isn't the place.

Let's just say bacon = God if you like meat. I also like most of the fake meats, but I've never found a fake bacon that doesn't make me want to slaughter a million fetal calves.

Undoing the threadjack... BREAKFAST! So are people good with Sunday, November 4th, meeting at the downtown Top Pot at 7:30 or 8?

Who wants to compile a list of places that open by 9am and do bloody marys?

Well unless you folks come with a really entertaining reason for me to ride tonight I may just sit around and compile a list based on the suggestions of those writing about breakfast. So put in all your requests and a list may result.

I'd climb over a pile of bloodied hobos for this ride. I'm in.

I am definitely in for the breakfast ride, assuming I can get my lazy ass out of bed in time. I might need a wake-up call, but it would be fun to be surrounded by you pigfuckers instead of my usual work environment after being torn from sweet slumber far too early.

Hmmmm, I think I can do that. Of course, you'll end up smelling like bacon for a few days afterwards. Again.

If we're going that route, I might load out with some vodka and/or mixers also.

let's review.
Let X = .83 + drinks + park + bacon
We know that:
.83 + drinks + park = AWESOME
Therefore:
X = AWESOME + bacon

For all non-shitty values of bacon:
X=AWESOMER

Now you know why I left the church. Not that I am actually a better christian, just that I don't know how I'd reconcile modern American christianity to Christ if we ever met.

PS Kat, you made an error in your assumption, namely if awesome is not a 1:1 function, then .83 could equal bacon for some x. Yikes!

I realize I am jumping in on this late, but yes, sort of, you are. Seattle is like the capitol of pescatarianism. My diet consists of everything vegitarian + dairy + eggs + fish + mercury + other small planets.

My defense for pescatarianism is that losing one's mind to mercury poisoning is a small price to pay for fish. Plus, at the rate we're over fishing the seas, I'll be a vegitarian soon enough.

Pescatarians, the Unitarian of the Vegetarians.

In Everett there's Patty's Eggnest, which features a full bar, cheap decent breakfasts, bacon, and a full bar. it's at 6707 Evergreen or something to that effect.

One of my favorite places to hit for pie and eggs after an all-nighter in my Snoho days.

But Woodinville sounds so much more intriguing...let's go scare us some yuppies!

I second Patty's Egg. I'm an Everett/Mukilteo kid and I've eaten there plenty of times. The Interurban goes with in a mile or three of there too.

Yeah, thus the edit right away.

We should ride to the brown bag in redmond. Holy shit that place is amazing and the portions are just rediculous.

As I have yet to ride to either Everett or Redmond, I'm really down for either. I've heard stuff about Patty's Eggnest though, so my lean would be in that direction. Plus cheap = good, as long as cheap isn't too cheap.
