Another option, but this is just me chiming in, since probably won't do this ride, is Kenmore Lanes in Kenmore. Drinking, dining, AND bowling, although the best way to get there is the Burke-Gilman, which some people despise.

better than Beth's (hail mary!) and with booze. tho it's been over a year since i slunk into a booth, hungover and starving, the memory of a spinach-mushroom-feta omelette capped with pretty-fucking-decent hashbrowns and not-terrible-not-good-either coffee sits square in my belly. in fact, it's making me hungry.
somebody may want to make sure they'll serve booze to dining room patrons (no, i'm not doing it) if you're up for it, i was a youngster that many-year-ago when i still languished on Everett's streets with the other hobos.

Redmond is easy to get to, and the brown bag gets good reviews
Patty's in Muk is pretty good, but crowded and slow as hell unless you're there early. Riding to Everett is fun if you like stopping a lot and trying to decipher the labyrinth of obfuscated and/or nonexistent Interurban signage. Hopefully you'll have someone in the group who has done the ride a few times. Wish I could do this with you guys but I'll be entertaining guests that weekend.

The only piece of real "organizing" we still need to do is to make sure someone on the ride has a list, mental or on paper, of what places serve bloody marys, preferably good bloody marys, so we can decide where to ride when we gather.
As far as the cooking of bacon in the park, I'm all for it, but other than possibly bringing some bacon if I know for sure I'll be able to cook it, that's other people. I'm sure as hell not going to haul around cold bacon for five hours. I'll just start randomly chucking it at people, which is why we need vegetarians and vegans on this ride.
I kind of doubt this will turn into a ride to Redmond... around Seattle sounds good to me.

Now that the ride is less than a week off and I am starting to trust the weather forecasts somewhat, I'm actually starting to think about where this should go.
As it looks like Sunday will be decent. starting at Top Pot and then heading up into Capitol Hill for bloody marys/park bacon and from there out across the I-90 Bridge and back, and from there North through Madrona/Capitol Hill to... somewhere. That kind of depends on where we end up deciding to have breakfast.
I just want to ride the I-90 Bridge when it's not the last bit of a 55 mile ride and my legs are too weak to even get me up one side of the dinky hills that frame the span. Plus we can blow past all the squids stinking of donuts and vodka.

So it does look like Sunday will be a pretty nice day for this thing. I will likely be at the memorial ride tomorrow, so I want to see if I can jump start some further discussion on where this ride of the breaking fast should go.
Is anyone bringing a camping stove and bacon for park bacon? I could bring bacon, but I don't really feel like hauling around a pound of room temperature, slimy bacon for 3 - 4 hours in my bag if no one is bringing any way of cooking it.
Do we have any suggestions about where to go for bloody marys? So far we have Hattie's Hat in Ballard, Linda's in Capitol Hill, The Baranoff in Greenwood, and Hi-Life in Ballard (not sure if that was just for breakfast or also for bloody marys). More? We definitely need more options!
And for breakfast the list includes all of the above (more or less) plus: Patty's Eggnest in Everett, Brown Bag in Redmond, and Kenmore Lanes in Kenmore. Again, more is better, like with bacon.
As for the actual "ride" do people like the idea of a morning jaunt across the I-90 bridge and back, stinking of vodka and donut grease? Or something else?

Not to add to the confusion, but Kona Kitchen at 5th Ave and 85th Street does great breakfasts; Hawaiian-style, no less. For the coffee-drinkers, they serve Kona coffee (it might be a blend, but they've got coffee, anyway).
You might even get to see Yuji.
Also, I'm down with the Mighty-O idea too, I prefer Mighty-O's donuts to Top Pot's. Plus, it puts us within easy distance of Kona Kitchen.
While I'm not exactly thrilled with the idea of crossing on I-90 ever, Jen says that the Brown Bag Cafe in Redmond is good.
