When do you plan on switching to the woolies? I was pretty cold this morning in my polypro tights, lycra shorts with running shorts over the top.

The usual jeans, t-shirt, and wool sleeves were totally adequate for the sprint downhill to work. If i ride tonight, I'm probably gonna bust out the socks and the jacket, too.

What do you crazies wear for gloves when it's ice-on-the-chainring cold? Does anyone make a good woolen or neoprene glove with a wind shell?

When it's really cold, I wear silk weight glove liners, and that typically is good down to below freezing when combined with proper clothing. It just does not get that cold here where you'd need full winter warm stuff. A windproof/water resistant layer and a warm when wet layer are much better.
or you could grow a bigger cock, so you don't pee on your hands as often. I hear the internetz are full of pills to "give her more satisfaction"

Switch? Almost all of my shirts are wool, no matter what time of year it is. I haven't found anything more comfortable to wear when we are travelling in the tropics (seriously).

Wind/waterproof shell gloves with wool liner gloves underneath.
Waterproof shell gloves (no insulation) are great in Seattle. Packing those, plus liners, plus normal short finger riding gloves gives you handwear for any condition that Seattle will throw at you. The three pairs of gloves are lighter than most single pair of "winter" gloves, and most of the "winter" gloves (even with names like "AmFib") aren't waterproof.
