A few of you asked for the running plan I used as a freshman getting ready for my readiness tests.

http://www.usna.edu/PEScheds/HPL8Week.htm is the one I was recommending on Thursday.

The site that comes from also includes a workout plan for getting ready for the "40 year swim", in case one of our beach stops ever includes a swim beginning with a 10 meter jump and has to be at least a mile long, and must be done in full uniform and boots.

Thanks a lot Matthew. Now I'm all tired from just reading that.

I noticed that too, right before the ladder reps for heavy drinking dependent on how much you tolerated on Monday morning.

Also good for getting into running: https://www.nrotc.navy.mil/doc/pre-conditioning.pdf They have the same plan mailed out to the new Academy mids, but you have to be on a navy computer so you can connect high side to read it online for some reason. Count on NROTC to use some common sense that the Russians and Chinese have already figured out running...
