Ah, the Stitch N' Bitches have been a resounding success so far. (by certain values of success) I'd like to host another of these crazy shindigs on Wednesday the 24th, 6PM.
I'd like to go ahead and encourage non-sewers to attend with your yarn, soldering irons, saws and wrenches in tow so I'm going for a name change. (Although if I were going for realism, I'd call this a Booze N' Schmooze)
Amongst other things, I would like to enlist aid making full-scale reproductions of traffic signs for use in the home and yard.

1. Do you have a vice?
2. Is this vice firmly attached to something?
3. Will there be bourbon?

I have many vices, Roge. among them: wine, women, song...and oh yeah, laughing at my own jokes.

And I want to cook up some Mint Juleps.
This could be good.
This could be bad.
I'm hoping for the former.

Dear Sir or Madam,
Thank you for your inquiry here at KraftGlomCo.
We here at CraftGlomCo have many vices. Three of them are even of the metal squishy kind. Of those, one is firmly attached to something.
Also, we have bourbon.
I hope this has answered your inquiry

The trick is to ignore your body if you can; if I don't sleep for long enough my heart will start racing for a little bit and wake me up again, but that sometimes leads to paranoia.
Take some stimulants then come join us for depressants(with mint).

Will the appropriate tools be available for transforming my bike from a box of parts back into a more ridable form? I'll be there if I can figure out how to move my box-o-bike and self from Redmond to wherever this is occurring.

Sir or Madam,
We here at KraftGlomCo have a standard PerNashGoBar basic toolset for the assembly and dissasembly of Shimano and Shimano-esque bicycles of the mountain bike and hybrid variety. Beyond this range, we here at KraftGlomCo cannot guarantee that the particular metal widget required to add or remove some fiddly bit of your cycle will be available.

Two blocks east at Crazy Rogelio's Loco House o' Bikes, many oddly little tools may be found to assist in general bike assembly; also: beans + tortillas.

Ditto, but my car is also up the street which means easy bikeshop/grocery runs.

Also, my car is within spitting distance of my house for similar expeditions! That is unless I see more car stupidity today and torch it.

I'm more into beer.
Anyway, if you need help loosening a freewheel I'll be around Sunday morning and early afternoon brewing beer. If you want help with the wheel email me (alex at phred dot org) for the address. The house is in Ravenna near Whole Foods.
Foo -- the event sounds like fun, wish I could make it. Next time.

I came over and we played at bike mechanic instead of the IT workers we are. There was beer, hummus, grease, and our favorite little mechanic.
