We're on the road to nowhere for sure, yo. He needs to take some lessons from Zack's school of riding fixed in Mumbai (note the Indian kid complementing him on his track stand. They're so easily entertained.)

you have his badge number?
That is a civil suit waiting to happen!
Bikes do not fit with vehicular interception. Drawing a gun on a kid reaching to a cell phone is one thing, their is a reason to misunderstand, but swerving your 4,000 lb cruiser at cyclists, that is a unnecessary danger.
I know John Duggan lurks on this site, I would be really interested in his opinion or Orions thoughts.
If they really swerved at you while moving, that is something that should be taken up to the administration.

you know I had the idea a while ago to have a scavenger hunt in the city, but with no teams, every man for himself, everyone on bikes.

It might be a completely lame, stupid idea, but I have been wondering about having an august or september midnight "dead streetlight hunt" competition to give Seattle City Light a list of all their dead streetlights early enough that they can fix them before it gets dark early and they get horribly backlogged.
Maybe we could get Seattle City Light to donate some prizes for the help. ...they should be able to be much more efficient if they have a relatively complete map to start with.

ooh fun! If we could get them to sponsor a one-night bounty for finding downed lights, we could have a pretty wild night.

See I just had this image in my head of one of us skidding to a halt in front of some dude, whipping out a polaroid and screaming "QUICK! I NEED A PICTURE OF A GUY WITH A ROLLING STONES SHIRT!" someone else rides up "GET OUT OF HERE I SAW HIM FIRST! AAAH!" Then everyone rides off and the guy is just standing there with no idea what the hell just happened.

That youtube video bothers me a lot. First of because some dickhead re-dubbed over "welcome to the jungle", and second, because there's NO CREDIT to the guy who filmed it, lucas brunelle. You can see his movies at his site: http://digave.com/. My personal favorite is the baltimore one, where he hits a car, and then the guy chases him as he rides the wrong way on a major street.
