i went with the guerciotti because it's the most reasonably priced. i'm not a big fan of the paintjob though.

I was going to comment on that...

that seems to come from a "Wish we were Masi" era. I like the old Blue and yellow guerciotti colors. I seem to remember a blue yellow black in the mid 80's that was just really cool.

bad colors aside... It's still a guerciotti...

Fratelli Italia!

I assume itsa gonna getsa campy grouppo... eh?

I've got a squid Gueriotti jersey for you if you want it. Been sitting in a drawer of old bike clothes for years. Yellow and Black with the white star and UCI rainbow colors.

I did it....

only for... $190.07 w/ local pickup (in Yakima, it's a fun drive...)

Thanks for your input.

FYI:

De Rosa went for $516.03

Pinarello for $230.22 w/no Fork

I am still watching a Columbus SL Merckx @ $300 w/ 3days remaining.

Thanks.

for the record...

even though you got it with the intent of that grouppo you have....

I would go get an old campy record grouppo to put on that frame... the Regina grouppo you have is amazing... I would save it for a Waterford Paramount or some other really nice bike... There's lot's of Geurciotti's out there... not many regina grouppos...

That regina grouppo is really pretty... it's new to me, it came out when I wasn't riding much, but it looks really amazing... I would want a frame that is also American made.

Just my two cents... or one eurocent...

ummm the words "Shimano" and "Record" don't work well together.

also, Regina components are Italian.

wow... I got scripted by the site admins... sweet.

here,... bad spelling helps... at least until Henry comes in and invades my words again...

nice... I got scripted

campy = shimano

so caampy(shimanoized) will now have to be spelled different every time I use it

(The components he links to have AMERICA logo's on them, my mistake. I know Regina proper was made in Italy....speaking of which I'm actually looking for a CX replacement body on my old racebike.)

It would be a lot more fun if we could all ad-lib and we could TOS the whole dialouge thing out the window and ride.

HenryDerrickLee... why not just let us all admin the .83 website!?

You weren't edited, it's part of the script:

"campаgחolo" = "that really tasty bread from the bread dumpster?"

"cаmpy" = "Shimano"

As you guys duke it out over Japanese vs. Italian, I'll be over here drooling at the new VanDessel Gin and Trombones you can get built up with SRAM Red. It costs almost $200 less than the Record or DuraAce, and weighs a full 150 grams less.

and...

If you want durace' for $100 less... your loss... I mean... it's still badass... I will consent to that... I mean... it might be almost as good as Veloce...

but go

if for no other reason... that...

components are still polished on the laps of hot Italian women.
