A flower called hops makes beer both flavorful and bitter. Those sensations make hops-heavy India pale ale, for example, a favorite drink from many of Washington's 83 small, independent, traditional breweries.

Corn is for tortillas and fairground foods, not ethanol.

We need some price correction: here's hoping for a giant surplus of corn ruining pricing and embittering farmers

Does this have anything to do with that fire in the Yakima hops warehouses some time ago?

Incidentally, making Ethanol from corn is about the dumbest alternate energy stratgegy imaginable.

Hey! Let's create a fake alternate energy technology that destroys our breadbasket so we can pander to the corn lobby! YAY!

Yet another reason to hate the current administration.
