If 8ish extends to about 9, maybe.

totally psyched ... anticipation building ... wind + distance + hills + neon garb + copious amounts of CA-purchased alcohol ... it's a recipe for an exceptional Thursday ride. Maybe some hail for shits & giggles?

Bitches. I think it was exactly 2 years ago this week we did this on my maiden voyage and I was going to make it out tomorrow regardless. Nostalgia's nice and all, but......no tunnels.

Don't make me bust out the hottest stuff ever. These Habaneros have been sitting for a year and a half, and ld50 is probably less than a shot.

I doubt my concoction has a chance against yours in a contest. Mine is still sippable. After half a shot my lips are tingling and I have a nice buzz sort of feeling from the heat.

it will.

all of the (if much) excitement will take place between 2 and 8 pm, so y'all may catch the tail end of the wind. getting from work to WLC should be entertaining! It'd gonna be messy out there afterwards...wrap yourselves in bubblewrap dont try to stop your falls with your hands.

oh man that's classic, I'm surprised no one's pulled that before.

I picked up a new Ortleib last weekend, so at least my stuff will stay dry. Also, I've been experimenting with wearing my leather jacket when it's raining. It keeps me dry and warm until I can get something better for riding. Unfortunately it sometimes keeps me too warm. We'll see how it works tonight.
