Wow, and I thought pinning a piece of paper to the back of my jersey reading "lonely 'crosser seeks other lonely 'crosser to not be lonely anymore" then racing in the Women's Cat 1/2 race was a desperate bid for love.

where's Kalen on this? This seems like exactly his bag, down to the sing-alongs. This kinda' made me want a tandem.

Just wait till you see the tandem on friday. There's something big in store for the Critical Massquerade.

Now I am expecting something either involving stilts or a tall-tandem.

sweet. I haven't seen proper Tandem antics since Brandon packed a giant battering ram to the shopping cart race.

No, I haven't even done this. Yet. This actually falls in the same category as using the race entry form and waiver as a singles dating service and the woman at the registration tent obliquely asking why we weren't going out, Kat. You demonstrated an exceptional amount of self-control. I thought you were about to give her an edumacation.

Not so sure it's a good idea to do that anyhow. Those women in the Cat 1/2 race are scary fast. Part of the reason I'd do this is because I'd like to be able to ride with the future Mrs. Matthew. With women that scary, I'm pretty sure they'd kick my arse, emasculate me with my own bike, then lap me out of the race.
