Way to keep me entertained guys.
can't you just be kept "entertained" by looking at pornography online, and therefore solve two problems at once? get fired, come ride!

my participation in this evening's ride was minimal, but I did witness two costumed laps around the Knarr

Hmm.
The bad: Nova biting it in the first mile and probably needing stitches on her lip. Two mechanicals, first the fender then the tube.
The rad: Dualing trackstands on a merry-go-round, lots of people giving me taste feedback on my hot pepper infused vodka (that might be bad for them, let me know [and apologies] if you have the flaming shits tomorrow), all the other crazy park antics from racing up the hillside to swinging competitions on the zip-line thing. [Correction] Derrick [/correction] dressed as Santa offering booze to a hobo who refused the free booze. The costumes: Mustard, Triceritops, santa, winnie the poo, cowgirl, and so much much more. I hope people have lots of good pictures.
I lost the group around Fremont, thought you were going to the canal park firepit and took a different route. Oh well.
I'll be at mass tomorrow.

I knew that, my drunk fingers forgot, and somehow I had swapped your names in my head a few weeks ago and I haven't quite made the correction permanent yet.
A correction has been applied to the original post.

no stitches, but i did have X-rays---that film was so fucking cold it made my entire body shake.
got out around midnite, cabbed home. my knee is too fucked to ride my faithful steed any time real soon, but i guess that gives me some time to true up her wheels, what-not.
anyone wanna carry me in a bakfiets?

Things I learned last night (in no particular order):
- Nova is super hard core because after taking a tumble, she RODE to the damn ER. I hope you are well!
- attempting to wrestle Henry to protect a log-seat from getting tossed into the firepit is a useless idea
- the Ravenna Park zip line swing is awesome. AWESOME.
- Raindog has some crazy high bar gymnastic abilities
- .83 Men's zip line swing gymnastics are impressive.
- Derrick should not be allowed to shoot cap guns at pedestrians while dressed in Santa gear. And he shouldn't throw eggs at other .83ers.
Other:
I am bruised as hell.
"...Love lift us up where we belong, Where the eagles fly on a mountan high, Love lift us up where we belong, Far from the world below, Where the clear winds blow..." Horrible! Horrible! :D

Man, I'm pretty sad I had to sit this one out. Even more sad that I might have to sit Mass out as well. Being drastically short on cash during a time when I'm supposed to be moving into a new apartment is horrible timing.

I talked to Seven last night...he's working overtime to make extra $$$.
If you are trading mass for 1.5 * $$$, mass is expensive.

It's funny, but a lot of us have been claiming weird bruises lately. My PT actually asked me if I needed to talk about being in an abusive relationship and that it was okay because men could be abused too.
And I'm not getting in crashes, conflict resolution with Derrick, sitting on my shins, or slipping off the pedals causing shin gashes. Any ideas? I mean these bruises look terrible and go all the way up and down my legs.

Mine!
Sorry I suck at posting on the internets in a timely manner.
Also it was rad running into you all on my way home from work. that should happen to me more often.
Also I need a new job that dosn't keep me there until 7:30 and expect me to work the next morning at 6:30 and pay me shit so I can come on more point83 rides.
On that point, wanna just drop by my work (which happens to be a few blocks away westlake) right before one of the thursday rides with my camera? they've scheduled me to close for the next to weeks which means I can't go out riding. Also I need a new job. dammit.
