Officer Miller scolded me for being a pedestrian on the BGT while I was walking all dressed up in business clothes for a job interview. I did not receive the standard greeting so I don't think he recognised me. Then I saw Margaret, who waved nicely.

I recognized you, Heather. I just was brimming with ecstasy over the detainment and eviction of the tweakers from their bike chop squats along the BGT in Wallingford. After riding past those for the last 10+ months, it was nice to see something finally being done about the obvious theft ring operating out of them (and hopefully they get the help they need, not just a slap on the wrist and a boot out the door to somewhere else).
I also saw large marge, but wasn't entirely sure it was her so I kept the standard greeting to myself.

Who did I see corking a car in Belltown last night (2/27)? I was on the D line around 3rd and Bell at about 10pm. A .83 or .83-adjacent looking person was corking a car that was trying to drive through the little parklet thingee there. The car did not seem to get it and people on the sidewalk were yelling but it was not clear if they were on the side of the cyclist or the driver. Couldn't do much from the bus, hope it all worked out OK!

I suspect the dirty construction workers who yelled for me to, "Get on the sidewalk, f****t!" from the comfort of their lifted pick 'em up truck this morning in Bellevue were not, in fact, pointythreers. I did, however, give the customary response of one middle finger raised high in the air as they sped past.
Which brings me to my next point: are slurs pertaining to sexual orientation even that offensive anymore? Like, if you suspected I enjoyed copulation with other men, wouldn't that make it a compliment?

really, they're *more* offensive. I mean think about it. When people finally stopped saying N****r all the fucking time, did it make it less racist because no one was using it? No. These days, F****t is the new N****r.
