Who's red bike did I see on the front of the #8 bus going up CapHill around 3:30? It had a bunch of calendar girl cards in it, but the only one I caught was Kats.

Kalen, heading east on 45th in the U-Dist right by Kinko's (or, in the words of Kinko's customers, The Kinko), at around 6:45 pm-ish.

You blew by on Market in your car, about 2:00 am on Thursday, and laid the horn on this stupid bicycle riding loser ahead of you. He crashed spectacularly, and I laughed. He was all over the road, and you put him in his place. I didn't see you, but it doesn't matter. I know you. Drinks?

That would be hilarious. Especially if we filtered in slowly, so it would not be immediately apparent what is going on.

Ray in my elevator at 4th and Madison.
Stood right next to him without recognizing him and explained to a coworker the reason I've got the cane and a limp today is because I twisted my ankle on last nights .83 ride when we hit that uphill hairpin turn at the beginning and got knocked off - and then did another 35 miles. Guy behind me's like - hey did you get that riding bikes? Oh yeah? Did you bike to Renton? Obviously recognized me before I did him.

No violence.
I actually think we should bring a tandem and strongly suggest this hater condescend to sleep with the enemy long enough for a quick spin. If we get her panties in a bundle by acting like the assholes she thinks we are what good will that do us? If we show up and then allow her to make the profound discovery that despite being a bunch of booze addled troglodytes with a collective intelligence hardly comparable to that of a retarded prosimian we are actually pretty good company and not worth hating then the whole thing becomes worthwhile.
There is power in intimidation. There is power in violence. But there are few powers greater than that of ridicule, few barbs sharper than the barbs that reveal self-shame. This woman needs to be made fun of far more than she needs her violent impulses fed and hateful prejudices confirmed.

oh Raz, don't you realize i'm of the non-violent type? I'd sooner knit this woman a sweater than poke her with a pointy-stick.
