On Wednesday I'm moving from my old house, which is being torn down, to my new apartment, which is smack in the middle of awesome. I have nothing but a bike, so if anyone might be willing to help me transport stuff in something other than a pannier, that would be sweet. I don't really have any big furniture, just a dresser and a desk, but I found a couch for free on the Craigslist that I was supposed to pick up that day too. I'm not sure where that's at yet, I need to call for details, so that part may require a little driving. Anyone with a truck, etc. available who'd be willing to help me out with the promise of some beers and possibly pizza would be super cool. I'll, of course, be having an official house warming party, but I have to move in first.
Also, I'm losing my bed, so if anyone has any beds kicking around they want to get ride of on the cheap that too, would rock.
Caution: If you have both a bed and an available truck, I might make out with you.
Edit: Also, it's Brandon All American's birthday today, wish him such accordingly.

Yeah, Flexcar.
They have pickup trucks & vans in certain locations, I used a flex pickup truck to move stuff into storage once. They also have a few Mazda Miatas kicking around for hot dates.

Yeah, they had pretty high turnover recently and are doing a fair amount of restructuring. For me it is a decent side gig that gets me out talking to people more, but I only do it a few hours a month at most so I don't spend enough time with anyone for their personality to get to me.

Hell yes, I'd love to do that. How log is that though, can it fit a pretty normal sized couch? I'll have to figure out exactly where that couch is though. If it's in redmond or tacoma, I'm not sure I could hack that.

Well I didn't move into that house until June. But you probably did wonder about it, my two roommates are reclusive dorks. One is a LARPer and the other is really into "War" games. Not anything cool, they're basically like risk but with bigger maps and they like to make them try to follow history.....
