cause the last one was waaaaaaay to over planned. so this will be simple.

Sunday 12/2/2007 7:30am (roll @ ~8-8:30ish)
Top Pot downtown

same drill as last time. get your coffee fix then we ride to a park for breakfast drinks and BACON!!!

I have the park picked out and I have a place picked out for the real breakfast, I'm working out the details with the bartender, but needless to say they will be ready for us.

NOTE: vegitarians, bring your own pan to fuck up! scrubbing burnt soy gook out of a pan is HARRRRDDDDD!!!!!

lando, please sticky...

Ah, the torch has been passed. I was going to get on planning this one, but you beat me to it.

What sort of arrival time obligation are we going to have for the actual breakfast place? Is the place you're talking to cool with an hour or two range?

And yeah, veggie meats have a pervasive evil that penetrates all surfaces they come into contact with. In a few weeks that bit of sidewalk the facon-bacon dropped on will be a smoking hole. I don't even want to think about what Sketchy's stomach will look like.

let's get some real bacon this time...Hell, let's pass the hat & sign up for the Bacon Of the Month Club (http://www.gratefulpalate.com/?p=Category_11) and make this a regular thing.

also, Dec 2 is the day after the Xtraspecial Housewarming Party 2.0 I'm hosting. I haven't gotten around to making a formal generic .83 invite but y'all are invited with the caveat you only puke outside.

Intriguing - but I'm not sure 1 1/2 pounds of bacon are going to go very far with this crew. Shit, I got hungry and polished off a whole pound by myself one night last week.

Nonetheless, I am still intrigued...

with a little extra moolah & much schmoozing I'm sure we could work out a subsidized sponsorhip deal to get additional tasty pork products. Us Clubs, we have to stick together ya know.

Hmm, I think I'm game to toss in on this idea. As long as I can get a few slices of premium hog flesh to go along with whatever thick cut I pick up at Safeway or whatever, I'll be happy.

funny, I don't remember seeing you at waffle park last sunday...

also, I went through 3 pounds of slab but we only had one 10" pan for cooking and it was hijacked and trashed midway through the festivities...

I think I'm going to bring bacon wrapped fois gras this time...

Note: It's not exactly breakfast food and it needs an oven but cream cheese stuffed, bacon wrapped figs are pretty damned awesome.

Goddamnit, now I'm all hungry.

What exactly makes this ride SKETCHY flavored? I don't want to go to this thing and end up eating some fowl smelling meat substitute.

Stemming from his behavior at the first Breakfast Ride, Sketchy is now our official club mascot. We're having Sketchy masks made up as we speak.

At this time we have no official position on Sketchy's claim of being Lord and Master of Point83.

I'm bringing a pint of tobasco motherbitches.

Hashbrowns without tobasco is a crime against mankind.

I'll also bring stuff to make Turkish coffee. We are going to be drunk and buzzing by 10am. It is going to be awesome.

For the first breakfast ride, we met up between 7:30 and 8, rolled out about 8:30--any chance we can make a slight alteration to the plan for this one, and plan the roll out (I wish I was good at computers and ROLL OUT could be in red, and a link to a you tube video of the song 'roll out') for 8:30 again (instead of 8)?

I get up early...but 8:30 just sounds so much better......

AND we'll definitely contribute a non-meat pan so we don't ruin yours, Dave. Thanks for letting us use it last time. I know scrubbing it out was no fun.

I second the 8-ish meeting time. Much more doable. Also, I think it would be radical to cook the entire b-fast ourselves in different locations. Bacon at one park. B-fast burritos in another (preferably cooked by triker trev). We could even swing by the bread dumpsters.

there is a route, ~17 miles to the park, no serious hills but a little bit of climbing. there will be a stop just before the park for food/booze items so you don't have to carry a ton of shit with you. the park has a shelter should the sky be drippy, it also has fire facilities. there will be a large table waiting for us at our real breakfast location...

that's all you fuckers need to know...

OK......I'm confused. I don't ride with you all but in town for a while and this thing sounds like fun - only because you bastards have bacon. I'm a whore for bacon-I really am. Crispy, raw, just right and tight. Bacon cannot be bad. On the planning thing though....."NO PLANNING DIRTY ROTTEN DOG FUCKERS" I get and you da chief on this one. But how do I get a refrigerator full of bacon and and the MONSTER pan I got from Cabellas to the show? Riding with a cast iron skillet and a shitload of bacon is dangerous not to mention a pain in the ass. I don't mind a sacrifice but I'll have like 50 dogs following me! Not to mention un-refrigerated bacon. I'll take on the dogs but hurting the bacon will not be allowed. Please give guidance to us dog fuckers. Oh and what do we do with the MONSTER pan afterward? Is there a local charity or someone who wants to sit in a dark room after the ride and lick the pan?
