Good morning world!
It's 2 degrees C outside, I'm wearing thermals, my heavyweight knickers, a tummy empty and ready for donuts and bacon and it's supposed to just rain today in Seattle. Let's ride bikes!

I set my alarm and got up about 5 times. I realized I have NO MONEY on my card. No one's up at my parents house to borrow money from and now it's coming down like crazy.
I'm gonna ride bikes up here!
Snow check! This ride will have to happen the first Sunday of next month instead, yes?

There was NO SNOW!
It was sleeting downtown, and up in Capitol Hill there was a tiny bit of snow sticking to dirt, but the pavement was clear of ice/frost/slush. I find everyone's lack of faith in bacon and booze most disturbing.
It poured the entire time though, and the "ride" component was riding up to a great crepe place on Pine that Sketchy knew about. All hail Sketch, Lord and Master of Point83, for saving Breakfast Ride II from utter lameness.
Even Sketchy's powers fall short of saving everyone who didn't show from utter lameness.

Your lack of planning makes baby Jebus cry.

Arrived at Top Pot around 08:35 to find Sketchy, Paul and Prof. Dave. Big laugh as I walked in to the greeting "the host fucking cancelled!".
16ozs of coffee later, Dave had left so Sketchy, Paul and I rode up to 611 supreme for a breakfast of more coffee, crepes, and flirts with the lovely barstaff (one of whom comped us a dessert crepe, either because we looked cold and miserable or because she wanted to fondle Sketchy's massive tackle).
Rode the few blocks home in the pouring gross to a bed with the warm-bodied droopy-eyed person I left a few hours prior (I need to examine my priorities!).
Not a bad morning all in all, but nothing like the awesomeness of yestermonth.
Lameness? Or excellence, for enjoying the lazy Sunday morning in bed with someone warm and snuggly? You be the judge.
You really don't want that. 'Cos you know what I'd pick!
BTW, it was, and still is snowing for Jesus on this side of the sound. We have four inches powder on the roads. Also, I am sitting at work doing a reactor startup 'cos we lost shore power this morning, apparently. Or something. Or maybe they just didn't want me to take part in the awesomeness.
