It's raining, we're pouring!
Come help yourself by keeping warm with whiskey, greasy food, and creating miscellaneous weather protection gear.
We're trying to acquire a pattern for spats and little biker hats.
If you have any other cover-up ideas like items you'd like assistance making come on over with fabric and ideas to share.
I'll be onhand to assist with cycling skirts for those interested.
Making a preliminary trip to Seattle Fabrics on Saturday, let me know if you need anything and you can pay me back (cash/check/trade).
Stitch'n'Bitch 3
Where: Foo's place - 4817 Greenwood Ave N
When: 6-10pm, November 19th (Monday)
Why: sewing + booze + bike love, that's why! because using sharp objects propelled by steadfast speedy motors is always a good idea when bourbon is involved!

It's getting windy outside, we need bicycle sails and I need some sort of reflective design on my bag.
Also, we need tacos: anyone have meat preferences?

I have spats. You can't take them apart, but you can stare at them a lot and try to use them as a pattern. Much like I will be doing.
Plans to also: Chop hoodies, make pants, sew in general. I will be there early. I have lots of sewing to do.

*bump*
About 19 hours before the event begins...
I'm considering making an appearance, though I don't really have the skills necessary to make anything at the moment; would anyone be willing to impart their knowledge of rudimentary knitting so I could start on a winter hat for myself or something? If so, I would be much obliged...

Of course, having waited until the last minute, I let this bit about supplies totally slip by me, so I don't really expect there to be extra material to work with; that being said, I would be willing to reimburse people if there does happen to be something available.
Thanks!

Oh, there will be plenty of extra supplies. Between Nova and myself the yarn will be a plenty. I have lots of extra yarn and could use a knitting reminder. I can't really remember how to do it, since I've never managed to get super into it. I have to be retaught briefly every time I go to knit.
So many projects to work on and so little time.
Since when in the hell did your stitch and bitches actually end at 10. If I recall correctly they've gone til about 2... 4 in the morning both times before.
WE STITCH IN...

Yo Aden/Chris, I didn't get these msgs till I got to work, but I'll have chopsticks easily convertible to knitting needles if Aden has some extra yarn. You bring willing hands, we'll bring knowledge/supplies!
Be well, all.
