HOUSE WARMING PARTY!
That's right, you fucking heard me.

When? 7pm-????!?!?!? Black Friday, November 23rd
Where? 1512 Summit Ave. Apt. 405 Typing "405" into the intercom next to the door will call my phone.
What? I said house warming party
How? by bike, or if you're lazy, by bus. (If for some reason you need to, there's street parking in front and a garage across the street for cars.)
Should I bring anything? Booze for you, booze for me, food if you want, a present if you're nice, a smile, a butthole, anything else you want.

UPDATE! The date has been changed to Friday so my girlfriend can come.

Here in seattle, we don't say "y'all". Or even "you all"

We say: "All of you" or "come to my party" or something like that.

"y'all" is reserved for shit-chucking, slack-jawed, mouth-breathing yokels.

Dude, it's y'all. The apostrophe goes where the "ou" would be, since it's short for "you all".

And eric: fuck a pig. Y'all is a useful term, since the English language doesn't have a second person plural pronoun. If we were in the south, or some other manner of slack-jawed yokels, y'all would be singular, and all y'all would be plural. Duh.

Thursday November 22nd: Boozed by noon. Face full of food. Insane .83 Thanksgiving ride. Awesome.

Friday November 23rd: I would assume we all drink, together, apart, whatever. We ride bikes. We drink booze. We do this whether it's Friday, or Tuesday. We especially do this on long holiday weekends.

Saturday November 24th: Gin ride. Drunk by 2. Ride, ride.
Sevens housewarming. We drink, get rowdy, fuck up his new pad. Ohhh, the drunkness. Oh the fun.

Sunday November 25th: Fatty ride. 80 miles around the towns. We drink? Most likely. We ride. Most definitely.

Monday November 26th: Dutch Bike Co. Wrench Party. We bike. We drink. We wrench.

This should prove to be quite the week. Quite the week indeed.

Thanks for all the fun guys. I enjoy every minute of it.

In my hometown of Pittsburgh, PA, there is a local vernacular for the second person plural pronoun. It's "yunz," pronounced halfway between "yoonz" and "yinz," as in "Yunz guyz wanna go drink some Iron City beer and watch the Steelers?"

I'm actually shocked that, as you pointed out, every other surrounding day has had one or more other events announced, but not this one.

Well done! I was concerned for the level of discourse all of you were promulgating, but it seems that this has been ... cleaned up. Like cutting your mullet:

No worries; like I said I was surprised no one else had already planned something.

This just means I'll be too busy cleaning up to come to your party. I know this breaks your heart, but I'm sure you will perservere.

A true hero's funeral.

Also, since we just moved in we're dirt poor so make sure any presents you bring us are intoxicating. (Fightin' Cock is my favorite cheap whisky, just fyi)

Or a chemo patient. Then you get to wear a woolie beanie all the time, like me.

Also, my mum is from Warren, Ohio, right across from Pittsburgh. She uses "y'in'yuns" often. You can imagine the fun that ensued when my mum spoke like a midwesterner, my father spoke like an army brat with no distinguishable accent at all, and I came back for holiday from my public school with a solid Received Pronunciation speaking as though I was auditioning for BBC.

Sadly, no. I suck at riding bikes these days. Just say no to grad school, kids. It'll fuck with your friends, your relationships, and even your money. I'd rather be paving interstates for a living.

woot woot! I went to Monroe Middle once upon a time, before moving out to Mukilteo. This back Morning Run was just a big empty field and the whole west end of town was a dairy.
