Having traveled all over this.......um, fine country of ours I have the definitive answer on the proper use of "Y'all" "ya all" "yall" and "you all" and "all of you". You have to remember that people from the south are generally inbreeders and therefore not very bright. They're really saying the same thing but depending on whether or not they use utensils (or just stick their face in the pile of food), the have varying degress of food in their mouth.
1. "All of You" is the proper usage reserved for British people or people who have monogramed shirts.
2. "You All" is the regular usage which is where "you all" want to be.
3. "Yall" is used primarily by Texans. They're not really inbreeders but usually have chew in their mouth and it's easier to say "yall" quickly and get right on it agin.
4. "Ya all" is used by people from Georgia where they try to be proper but still have a seed or a piece of gruel hanging in their teeth and it gets in the way.
5. "Y'all" is used in the other states like the Carolina's, Virginia, Tenn, Alabamber, and Louisa. It's a herky-jerky phrase which usually happens when a piece of fried chicken is hanging out of their mouth and the sheeps back legs are in their boots trying to get away.
You are pretty immune to this stuff out here I know but now you have it. Can't make it to the party but sounds fun. Take care ya selfs now.

Hey Guys two days until the party!
Just wanted to remind everyone that there's something happening Friday, and it's going to be awesome!!!
I'm going to be working that day, but I'll be leaving at 5. Does anyone want to meet me in Westlake at 5 and we can ride for a couple hours and hit a liquor store/beer stop/party supply stop or two? I think that would be loads of fun.

awesome! If no one else comes, fuck 'em, me and you will just have to ride around and get our own liquor. We should get Pinkerton there also, she's a cool cat.

7, is there any kind of theme to your party other than the grammatically correct of y'all/you all/y'alls?
yes, it is VERY important.
maybe i'll make it to westlake? i'm hungry for a bike ride NOW with all the eatin the week is bringing, god knows if i'll even be able to fit into my many-skirt by the time Friday rolls up on these hips. there's also a biohacketeer meeting TBA that night that i must make presences upon.
thread-jack: languid long-ish ride earlier Friday, noon to something, meet up with these jerks?

Unfortunately Nova, there's no theme. In the future I will throw some awesome themed parties because I do that pretty well, but not this time. The theme is house warming. Or also, we're too poor to buy our own booze so bring us some, that's the theme.
Pinks, number PMed.
Aden, I love you too, let's do dis.

Hey was any one else planning on meeting me at 5? Aden informs me that she won't be able to make it and I just won't bother if no one's going to be there?

I'll be heading out around 5, riding the BGT from the North end of the lake. If anyone want to join me, or if you want to meet up a little later, Seven I'm still down to ride some.
I am currently sitting at my parents house enjoying Thanksgiving dinner 2.0
I am thankful for stuffing, fruit bread, cranberry sauce, yams and broccoli casserole!

Well thanks to the few who came. I had a fun time.
As for the party, hangin in the hall was cool. But man, Seven, I didn't realize you come from such geekdom. Eric and I are geeks, but we were heavily heavily outgeeked!

Well, that was fun! Cruising back on 12th was a blast as one of my housemates hung out of a car window hollering at me. I kept pace with them for a bit, we lone drunken travellers.
Seven and Chelsea, thank you for not killing me when my "flask" aka un-flask leaked really absurdly terrible whiskey all over your carpet! Uh, I hear that baptism in cheap liquor is ALWAYS part of a housewarming, c'mon now, yeh.
Wheee!

Well I do work for a video game company, and I hav e been playing video games for all time. What can I say, deep beneath this suave, hip, perfectly chiseled exterior lies a geek.

Nova I think you left your unflask at my place.
Cass, I went to talk to The Raj today but he's in Montana or something, but I looked at his portfolio and he does some rad work.
Pinkerton, you'd better. I was bummed that you didn't show up.

What the hell is going on? Only a few people show up to Seven's party, the gin ride only gets three people; was the Thursday 3rd Anniversary ride that sparse or is everyone still hung over from that?
Maybe Point3ians take Thanksgiving a little too serious. Come on people, it's only food... and booze, and more food, and different booze, and pie, and jello, and, shit, now I need to go eat again.

As someone who has held a party the day after Thanksgiving for 8 years running, lots and lots of people go out of town for Thanksgiving, and lots of others book this weekend long in advance.
Our absolute record attendance for our party was in 2001 when (no surprise) nobody wanted to fly.

Yea, I forgot. He has family in Montana or somewhere out there. He should be back soon? I'll stop by the shop with you if you want, maybe that'll help the price if I'm present?

Yeah that might be cool. I also checked out his portfolio online and sent him a myspace message just to touch base. I'm excited to get some real work done again.
