15th Annual Buy Nothing Day - Downtown Zombie Ride
Westlake Center, November 23rd @ 12:30 pm (The day after Thanksgiving)
We will meet at Westlake Square (between 4th Ave. and 5th Ave. / between Pike and Pine) at 12:30pm and will leave around 1pm. (Also, if you absolutely can't show up at this time, but would like to participate, we will be sticking around the downtown area, so COME DOWN ANYWAY!)
Please come in your zombie garb and bring your bicycle. We will ride in a slow moving, critical mass style swarm, through-out the busiest streets downtown.
If you are in need of a little zombification, please show up a bit early (around noon) and we'll help you out, as several people within the DIY community have been good enough to donate some face paints for just this very purpose! Also, I will have some BUY NOTHING patches for people to adorn their bags/backs with, so that the cause is evident.
If you are interested in more information or if you have any ideas please feel to email me at cancerous.enjoyment@gmail.com It would be great if you could put BUY NOTHING, or something of the sort in the subject line, so that I can actually sort through my junk mail!
Alternately, give me a call after 5:30 pm M-F or ANYTIME on the weekend : 206.370.1737
(Also, please feel free to repost this bulletin and to spread to word.)

Yes, but only if you start pretty early. There's going to be about 49,999 people besides yourself downtown, all wanting cheap laptops and tvs, and at least 30 percent of those people will be gunning to stab you in the face over the last pair of buy-two-get-one-free angora dress socks from Macy's.
Although, on the upside, the head wound will make your zombie costume much more believable...
