I am,will be teaching snow shelter survival skills (not really). Building a snow cave or iglo is easier with a lot of people doing the shoveling and me supervising.

Maybe... I would have to skip a monthly all-hands meeting. Worried the 'no hiking' aspect will bring out too many of you lazy undesirables :)

"Mr Obstinate" is annoying. It's a private matter I'd like to settle privately with Ben, not here in the peanut gallery.

I checked with the park service and we will be able to camp where we want. They have a sleding area that they want us to use, but we will be able to fudge that.
Things needed are.
Cars to carpool. You must have chains. but not if your car is AWD
warm clothes
good tents
warm sleeping bags, I can hook ya up with rentals through Feathered Friends.
Toys, blow up dolls, inertubes, sleds
booze
Fire wood. I'm going to be mounting an old barrel to some skis because we cant burn on the ground. This is point83 we burn shit.
lawn chairs

it's a little diner restaurant in the middle of town, right at the only stop light. across the street from the last grocery store on the way up, we'll probably want to stock up on stuff there anyways

It'd be disastrous.

I'm itching to get out and meet snow white this year, haven't seen her in ages...
I'm budging in into the gang and conversation, since no one probably knows me in here. I'm the guy with the Van Dessel and yello fendaz.
I'd be happy to contribute delicious liquids, good food, and help carrying whatever y'all plan to burn in that barrel :)
In return for a ride in a car - don't have one myself -
I'd bring the board as well, or just sno shoes.
lemme know if there is room
peace and joy evryone

On that subject, my gf and I will have two extra seats (three if they're all skinny bastards). Who needs a ride and who has extra seats?

I would be one plus a snow board,
and just to throw this one in, evryone knows I'm sure,
winter packs take up great deal of space in the trunk

I have room for 2 in my car, I'll have a couple of pairs of snow shoes for people to borrow and a 4 season 4person tent to lend out.
You people need to get some sort of snow stakes for your tents. The normal tent peg you get when you buy your tent don't work so well in the snow. Just ask dunken and gretch. I also have an extra 20degree bag. and a 0degree bag for use. plus an extra sleeping pad.

May I politely reserve one of those open seats?
Either the vaticdart or the sketchy vehicle offer.
So I'm counting on there being no hiking, right?
I'm only taking the minimum of shoe wear for boarding with me to save space.
Does anyone play didge pretty well?
I have one and would like to learn a bit. It may be fun to bring. Just a stupid thought...

i play the didjeridu! i now have hiking boots for the snow, and an exped downmat for my hammock so i can give winter hammocking a try.
i've got an extra 0 degree synthetic bag to loan out and i'll have an extra thermarest too, assuming this downmat holds air with the new patches.

marvelous! I may bring the didgeridoo.
In an emergency it can be used as kindling, just in case the attempts at playing turn out to be unbearable :)
