I'd consider it if they would define "limited operations". I agree the drive is easier to crystal, but it's not worth driving anywhere if they're not opening up decent terrain.

Upon further digging i found that Crystal is considering opening two of the lower chairs on Saturday and they'll make that call some time on Friday. I'd much rather spend an extra couple of hours in the car and get some serious skiing in.

true enough, ive been to crystal on limited operations days, it usually means lots of exposed ground cover (rocks) and only Forest Queen run open.

baker it is. looks like they'll be fully operational on saturday.

Hopefully the forecasted warming early next week will either not materialize or be short lived.
