it's been foreeeeeeeeeeeeever since I have ridden. ONE MONTH of Thursdays have passed!

I am flying out to Boston tomorrow in the early am and figured a night with this group would be the way to best prepare for the trip.

See you in ...

The Elders are planning, a scenic route in the makings, no tunnel but a trestle, a fire we will build.

Bundle up, we ride in...

A fire, you say? I'm game...

Sadly, I didn't bring my bike with me to work and may have to meet up with folks later. Anyone have a more concrete idea of the destination, or a number that I could call on the way?

Thanks!

Well, that's an idea, but I don't even know where the sunken city of R'lyeh is, much less how to awaken the old gods slumbering within.

doh.

I made it about 25 blocks, up to 1st hill and the cobblestone climb where my rear dérailleur detonated. This c@mpy stuff is repairable, right? Looks like a trip to Dr. Aaron in all my freetime before the party on Saturday night.

I put my purple bike back together so as to have a way to work. This is what second (third, fourth, etc) bikes are for, y'all who wonder how year-round commuters do it.

Seriously one of the best rides I've been on in a long while. Thanks Lee+Andre for an excellent route to Denny-Blaine.

I smell of firepit goodness! Excellent ride - uphills, cobblestones, downhills, marshmellows, and chilly toes. I wish I had brought my damn wallet so I could be at Brauers. Oh well!

Hey Andre, here's that shortcut I was telling you about.

Thanks again for an excellent route selection. The Madrona Bomb was fantastic!

there was no real "destination" per se, it was more of a "route" ride.

also,

missed calls from miles: 0
voicemails from miles: 0

are you sure you dialed my phone number correctly?

Close as I can figure.

I think I missed the cobbles. I made some guesses about where we were between QFC and the trestle.
