Hey everyone,
Sorry to pollute the forums with this non-bike-related thread. Of course, I suppose it does help to keep people in touch while riding...
Basically, I was wondering if anyone had an old Verizon phone laying around that they would be willing to sell; the LCD on mine is fubar'ed, and I don't really want to shell out $100+ for a new one right now. At the moment, as long as I can make calls and send and receive text messages, I would happy with pretty much anything. Yeah, I know, ebay and craigslist are nice, but it would be even nicer if I actually knew the person from whom I was getting the phone, even if that might be a long shot.
Thanks!

Hey, beggars can't be choosers! As long as I can text with it and it's new enough to actually be activated I would be happy to take you up on your offer, kind sir. Any time in particular that would be convenient to meet up and do the exchange? Mass tonight, perhaps?

EDIT: does anyone else notice that the auto-thumbnail generation for large images on the forum is broken? Also, I never noticed that the post background colors alternate between dark gray and less dark grey like that...

I have the charger for the vx4500. I'll bring it to mass.
I'll be easy to find. red fixie and a shirt with bread on it.

Thanks for the offer!
Interestingly enough, it turns out that my current (foobar'ed) phone is actually a vx4500, as well, so I already have a charger for it. Unless you were planning on throwing yours out anyway, you don't have to worry about bringing it to mass.
