The radar file I stole from the Washington Yacht Club Weather Page. I do not know where they got the file though. The WYC weather page is fun too because until recently it had VERY current gauge of wind velocity as measured from an anemometer mounted 40' above the W. arch of 520. It is still linked to this gauge, but the gauge ihas been broken for several weeks and I am starting to lose hope.
The modeling apps are pretty awesome. This is a fucking goldmine (and keeps me from getting any work done on days like today).
Sweet tools there Raz. My favorite has to be http://www.die.net/earth/, where you can see the current sunlight AND cloud cover for the whole planet. So just in case you ever wonder, "Hmm, is it cloudy in Mongolia?" you can find out. :D

There's a lot of reports of roads and and bridges washed out - any word on the burke gilman or sammamish river trails? After seeing what the storm did to downtown Woodinville, I'm not sure I'll like what I see when I try to bike past there on the way to work.

North end was fine after work. Stay off 35th by Nathan Hale though. Lk Forest Park was actually sort of nice because the river cleared all the leaves off the trail. No washouts or downed trees.

Yeah, I head about the school being closed due to flooding. I usually follow the contours of the creek through there to get from lake city way to the bgt. Probably not a good idea until the rain stops.
btw, the sammamish is partially up on the trails on both sides of the river under the bridge at 85th in redmond. Still safe, but who knows what it's like down near woodinville where the flooding in the streets was worse.

I rode the Burke all the way from Bothell about 3:00 yesterday afternoon. There were some mudslides between LFP and Matthews Beach but nothing you couldn't get around either to the side of the trail or on the road below.
