Nygaard (SeditiousCanary) is putting together a group order for us from Peter White Cycles for some of the new Busch & Müller LED headlights, which are due to be available soon.
The dynamo version of the light is the Lumotec IQ Fly, retail prices listed here, scroll down. There are also two battery powered versions of the light, Ixon IQ and Ixon IQ Speed, listed here.

How soon is this happening? I'm interested, but would like to receive my first IQ Fly first to see how I like it. I ordered it a few weeks ago, but don't know if Peter White has them in yet.
What are the projected prices through the group buy?

I'd like in, if this group buy can happen after the 1st of the year. The new derailleur I was so fortunate to get to replace yesterday pretty much smashed anythign resembling a budget I had.

Once Chris gets the account set up and lets us know the prices we can decide when to put the order in. Personally I don't mind waiting a bit longer, I don't think the lights are shipping yet anyway.

Heard about this from Alex, PMed Nygaard already, but figure I'll put myself on the list here as well.
I'm down for sooner rather than later, but am fine if it doesn't come in till New Years.
Oh yeah, and the IQ Fly Senso Plus, for Schmidt hub, if the connectors matter.

I emailed Peter White yesterday, he said the lights are due in today. Price for the Ixon IQ (runs on 4 AA's) is $147 including batteries and charger, plus $3 for a plug adapter that is needed for the charger.
When ordering the Lumotec we probably need to specify what type of dynohub it needs to be wired for - the Shimano and Schmidt hubs have different connectors.

The lights usually come without any connectors attached. You'll need to add your own connectors. Sounds like another work party (maybe my new workshop will be done by the time these arrive).
If Peter White is getting in the lights this week then I'll probably have one by next Thursday's ride. I could bring it along if people want to see one in person.

put me down for one with the standlight and the switch.
Alex has his light...I'd like mine soon, any word Chris?
It's great too.
I won't be on tonight's ride, but I'll probably be on next Tuesday's ride with it. I'll certainly be on next Thursday's ride with it.
I can't see any reason not to get it after about 15 miles of experience. It's bright, good beam pattern, low resistance. The light itself is kind of fugly, but that isn't a big deal.
I'll take a second one, with Senso (that is the $100 retail model). Chris -- I'd also be interested in the pricing of the SON20XS hub. It's probably out of my price range, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Do you mean the SONXS? The narrow one for your folding bike? I don't think there is a SON20XS model.

Nevermind, I see it on the price page. It's called SONXS on a different page, that was confusing.

While the list is still growing, could I get a couple other things on there?
Pitlock Set #02
B&M 4DToplight Senso Multi
Now I'll have blinding light power!

Prices are updated.
The big savings are in lights, whereas the small parts I can't do much with. The listed price is the best I can do.
Give me money!

Dutch Bikes
Sunday (or Saturday for that matter)
Cash, chech or charge are all fine, but it'll be nice if it's all in one payment. All pennies is right out, but all nickles is OK.

For clarification: If i come by the shop with my card tomorrow, will you charge it $78~ and subsequently give me a headlight?

can somebody add me to the list for two for the (on-off-auto switch, standlight) version, one for a SONS and one for a shimano hub?

"Subsequently" includes ordering and shipping time I think. We are effectivly prepaying I believe.
Correct. There will also be tax (8.8%) and some small ammount of shipping to deal with.

My SONXS query didn't make it on there. Do you have pricing for it?
I'll swing by tomorrow or Sunday with money.

Sorry about that, I had added it to the price list but got sidetracked before adding it to the order. I added it and guessed at the price, Chris will have to confirm.

Your maths are hard and come correct.
Only question now is which folding bike?
Son XS with 28 holes and 8mm axle @ 73mm wide for Bramptons?
Son XS with 28 holes and 9mm axle @ 74mm wide for Dahons?

The model for the Tikit (74mm, 24 holes).
I'm going to have to stew on it overnight.

Showed up at Dutch Bikes around 3:30. Big garage door was closed. Knocked. Waited. Started riding again because it was cold and wet outside.
What time will you be there tomorrow, so I can do this again?

Ditto, closed yesterday, wasn't able to make it by again today. Chris can I mail a check? I don't want to hold up the order but would like to get in on the order.
