the greenlake race of champions will be on thursday, 12/20 so as to avoid the end of the year and cull the weak to determine our final winner. so, if you've won at least once this year, you'd better show up. we'll also be doing a last-chance race to get one more qualifier into the skirmish.
the ride starts at westlake as normal and will head up to greenlake. after our ten minutes of racing, we'll all go swimming in greenlake or go get drunk and have a fire somewhere. or something.

I think Henry's onto something here. We could have a preliminary race of rich wannabe champions, sort of like the guys who pay Russia to get into space.
But we might have to thrown in a celebrity corndog to get any takers.

That captain America guy has won in two months, except he didn't get the trophy one of those times. And on one of the times he won it, I came in second.

Damn it all, my front shifter is broken, so I'll be racing with a downtube shifter for my chainrings.

non race info
I plan on a pre race at Two Bells for one of their blue cheese burgers and a pint of Guiness. Should fortify the body for the cold hopefully dry ride to the 'night at the races' with the Marx Brothers. You fill in who Harpo(henry), Chico(?), Groucho(?), Zeppo(?).

Based on his .sig, I would have thought Evan was Harpo.

ive been telling people that racing will start at roughly 9pm. (give or take a few)
that gives us an hour and a half to roll around on some odd way to greenlake to get some riding in.

I've had something like dysentery for the last few days so I may sit this one out. I'll bring the trophy and see how I feel when we get rolling. Whoever wins it will probably want to sanitize it. That is unless you really like pooping every 10 minutes after you ingest something.

Do you really think this is going to make us less competitive in getting this trophy?

No, much more competitive actually. I wouldn't want to be behind me in a sprint.
