New Edit: wanderlyte had other stuff that came up, so the seat is still open.

The gf and I, along with a fellow snowboarding stagehand she knows, are heading up to Alpental for (hopefully) some Chair 2 action on Thursday this week. We have room for one more; wanna come?

We're going up in a Chevy Tracker and we don't have a ski rack, so if possible leave the 7 foot Salomon Rockets at home.

We'll leave around 7am. If you're on the way from Ballard to I-90 we can pick you up, otherwise you'll need to meet us by our apartment. There's lots of time limit free parking around our apartment, so you don't need to worry about that.

Respond in the thread or PM me.

You want to see people bitch about the route of choice with their 23c tires, try coming down Upper International on 2 feet of powder.

Seriously? No one for Alpental? There's supposed to be another 8-12 tonight and they didn't even open Chair 2 today so if they do tomorrow it's going to be insane (assuming it's not totally bombed out).

I know, I know. This isn't a ski forum and everyone is probably off with family for the holidays or something. Poo on your holidays, give me 2 - 3 feet of powder.

Bah humbug! Ice belongs on mountains. The only thing that should be in your glass is alcohol, water, and various non-sugary flavorants.

Don't forget the umbrella though, that's what makes it a neat double scotch.

Yeah, that was totally in time.

But there will definitely be a next time. I'll post again when it looks like conditions might be good.

Chair 2 opened, although only the upper drop into Edelweiss was open (no Nash), and while it was amazing for two runs, the concentrated traffic did make it skied out pretty quickly.

dammit, tiff needs to step up and start beating the boys around the track, she would have won a big bottle of evan williams.

feel free to throw race prizes at me throughout the year people (bicycle related or booze related), i wouldnt mind a hand buying all those bottles :)
