WSF.com says the port townsend ferry from seattle ends Jan 6. So let's go tomorrow, I'll be on the 1230 outbound for a 2p arrival, and on the 615 to get back by 745. Basic plan is a ride to marrowstone island, any takers? 510 907 0EE9.
PS I have no idea what to do once there..ideas?

I was just there yesterday, well, close. Port Townsend anyways. It's cold and hilly, and most of town was closed on Xmas eve.

Well, damn, missed this post last night and I'm still stuck out in BFE for the rest of the day. If anybody is interested in doing this thurs or fri, or sometime late next week/weekend, I would be down.

I just got back on Saturday, you're all fucking late.
the hostel is damned near to empty, i had the entire women's dorm as my personal playground, wahoo.
also? the coffeeshop at the fort worden commons has a $3 breakfast burrito that is pretty sweet, meaty, cheesy, eggy, and doesn't fall apart. i ignored the opera music pouring from the state-of-the-art sound system and put my mental jukebox on miles davis.
there are still a few robins running around who have inexplicably forgotten to move south for the winter, and the usual frazzled seagulls.
Twig's down on the waterfront has some choice breakables, genuine tea service (with crumpets!), a hot fire, and the really choice thing? cheap army surplus from Sweden and beyond.
