Well, it's official. I am on two feet due to my own stupidity. I left the bike I consider to be my baby out behind the apartments unlocked after Thursdays drunky ride and it got stolen. 43rd and Woodland park.
It was a pearly white 1984 centurion. All sorts of dinged up. The centurion decals on the side were mostly chipped off.
8 speed
Red bar tape
B-17 ladies, aged leather, brown, laced Brooks saddle
Shimano brakes
Shimano SPD pedals
Shimano can't remember what cranks
I have a picture I'll put up when I can get to that computer.
I do have a bike to ride for now, luckily my sister never rides hers so...
Sucks to be me!!

is that number 3 for you?
it's hard to have sympathy when you just leave them places in public unlocked, repeatedly.
buy a lock?

Jesus Aden! It's sucks you got your baby stolen but we seriously need to get you one of those mitten strings for your bikes.
I'll keep an eye out. Seriously though, tie some string around your finger or whatever it takes to remember to lock up!

I have an extra lock for sale. It's a Kryptonite chain, $25.
I will throw in some common sense and a clue (free) if you promise to use it on your next bike.

gawddammit aden
if you would have TOLD me you were coming to the x-man disaster you would have gotten your gift...
A GODDAMN BIKE LOCK!!
Now what am I gonna do with a spare?
Seriously girl, i'm really sorry to hear this, but you GOTTA stop NOT locking your rides down. If it gets stolen cause the lock was broken, or the rack removed with your bike still on it, then we're all gonna feel real bad for you,
but 'cause you got a tad too, uh, lubricated in the brain...twice...in under two months...honey, honey, honey!
Sounds like it's time for a good old fashioned intervention.

I'm just sayin', the booze has never helped me keepin' things straight.
(of course, straight is certainly overrated in so many ways)
but if it weren't for me getting completely and irresponsibly wasted on the delicious but fateful local Rum while on a business trip in Colombia, I am sure I would have had a most lovely and very affectionate time with this gorgeous Colombian cyclist...
not to diss Kryptonite locks and all...

Thanks for the reminders, guys. But I already know I'm an idiot. Lesson learned. Burned once, mistake made. Burned twice your a fuckin idiot.
Derrick: No. Second and last bike stolen in my life. I don't have much sympathy for myself, I certianly wasn't expecting any from you!
J: I loved her. I set her free. Sucks to be me.
Anyway, if you guys see someone riding my bike around push the fucker off, kick them in the face and ride!! I'll be watching c's list too...

You all are being too mean. But I think I recognize that saying, we had it in Tennessee, I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee, that says:

No no, you're right. And your asskissing fine; I've heard. Say, is that why you ride so close to the ground?
It's too late to edit, I guess, so I'll just say:
***EDIT to previous post: Some of you all are being too mean, and some not. I'm sure it's all out of concern for future bikes, though. /EDIT***
Now with asskissing skill like that, well.... does that trike company have a website?

Hey just keep an eye out for another stolen bike. Stolen from 4th and Seneca the cable lock was cut. Its a black Grant bike with yellow fork. If you see it give abca call.
Stay safe,
