I plan on being there for the pre-funk and the ride. If I'm skiing the next day I may bail early-ish, but I'll be there for most of it. Hopefully with whiskey and loud, long socks.
Edit: I'm going to try and get my cracker-fro cut back. If the wait at Rudy's is reasonable I won't be there for the pre-funk, if it isn't I'll be there with the cracker-fro intact.

I still have one from last year. Extra dry means HUGE flames when you toss it in the fire.

There are about 10 of them in my parking garage. Nice and Dry. I don't have any means to transport though.

3 Americanos today. I need to poop, but there are always people in the bathroom and I like my privacy.

There's also a christmas tree up at my house atop Maple Leaf, but it's outside so it's probably not that dry. PM me if you need the address.

No more talking about poop in my birthday thread.*
Or burning christmas trees. We did that last week, goddammit.
Birthday tequila shots will be limited; birthday alcohol poisoning will hopefully be completely avoided. Birthday drunkeness, of course, is expected.

Today is Monday. Tomorrow is Tuesday.
Unless you're reading this tomorrow, in which case, yes, it is Tuesday.

Did we? I thought we just burnt a bunch of pallet wood. I have made this aid for finding a christmas tree.

I suggest this aid might be more profitable. Look for an address that has yard waste pickup on Wednesday (tomorrow). Then start circling the blocks and you'll bag your limit very quickly.
Of course, they may be a wee bit damp, depending on the weather.
Edit: Looks like Mt. Baker will do. For example, 2010 31st Ave S has yard waste pickup tomorrow.

Happy Birthday! I now work on Tuesdays so I will have to be there in spirit! Knock one back for me! Ride safe y'all.
I'll be there... What's the CIP? I'd love to prefunk but I can't really get into bars. Burning Xmas trees sounds fun... Seems like it'd be tough if they were soaked, but maybe with all the resin in the needles they'd still go up in flames. Someone should bring gasoline... or 151 rum...
Should be a fun night!

Which is funny as hell as other than 2 exceptions I haven't ridden a bike since Dec.13th... and I can't remember the last time i rode on a pointy ride.
Not that I don't want to... but I keep taking classes that require a 6am wake up on wed. and Fri.

You missed a fun ride and time. Short but good. We went to that bar south of Qwest field on 1st, by Showbox I think... I used to think that bar was called Speed Queen but now I just have no idea. Peanuts and bourbon and beer made a serene goulash. I don't remember now who said they were going to The Hurricane, but I'm pretty sure they lied as I went there, had a heap of grease and potatoes, coffee, and left without seeing anyone.
18 back to Ballard, and Besalu is reopening tomorrow morning after a two or something week hiatus, assuming I can drag my ass out of bed that early.

Nice beverage. Nice time.
Riding home I somehow took a little spill on a rail of the waterfront streetcar trolley. The serenest of crashes. I heard myself blurt an obscenity as my thigh and helmet hit the pavement. This turned my head so that I got to watch my poor bike slowly rise over me only to come down in a clatter. This roused a doorway sleeper who freed himself from his woolen issue cocoon in order to quickly depart the scene.
The bike and I picked ourselves up, straightened the steerer and stayed upright the rest of the way home.
The time has now come to fall down for the night.

Yeah: Kalen, J, and I went to the Hurricane to try to sober up a little bit, but alas, our endeavor ended only in being uncomfortably full besides being drunk. We headed over that way after Aden talked us into a little more drinking at The Hooverville, during which we had a little spoke card design meeting (J and Koos mostly). Point being: if you left when the first group split off, that is probably why you missed us; we were quite visibly locked up outside The Hurricane.
I got to drunkenly enjoy cruising around downtown on Kalen's bike on the way over there.

J is totally getting HRID from sleeping on our couch. That'd be the Hospitality Related Immune Deficiency.
Good call on the Hurricane, even with getting that extra food and water, I'm still all groggy this morning. Also, endless bucket of peanuts is teh awesome.

Good times. Thanks to everyone who came out (I know it is only because you all love me, and had nothing to do with your love of beer, or bicycles).
Good ride - U-district to SoDo is about right for these shitty rainy nights. Plus how can you not love riding through downtown screaming "Bicycles!!!"?
Much bike love. Hope those currently suffering from the Plague are feeling better, and those of you who are healthy stay that way!
