Just bought a new road bike, which features a bunch of disclaimers on the outside of the owner's manual, including this beauty

Raleigh's lawyers wrote:

Adults should never ride after dusk or at night, unless absolutely necessary, you must take steps to make yourself visible.


In case your wondering, children should never ride after dusk or at night, period, no run-on sentences.

I remember reading that in the manual for my Raleigh in 1993. At least they're consistent!
