Aha! The roads have pretty much cleared up aside from a few small patches of ice in the shadows, and its actually pertty frickin' nice outside! As this was a snow day, I got work off and actually have time to prefunk to oblivion. Any takers?

Running late at work, but I'll give a ring when I get into town and try to join up with folks.

Let's ride bikes!

I have a simple rule: if I can spin my rear wheel without moving when applying normal from-a-dead-stop pedal pressure, then it's time to hang up my spurs and head into the whorehouse for the night. Last night that was the bus. Tonight that's my apartment with it's fridge full of delicious beer and food. At some point I will have a bicycle that is better suited for ice and snow riding, but that day is not today, and is was certainly not last night.

Hope you bastards and mistards don't fall too much in the icy snow and snowy ice. Depending on how many of you are still alive in the morning I may make an attempt at getting to work on my mis-placed road bike. Or may just suffer the indignity of the 44 again.

Long live the hobos of the back seats!

yeah, there was barely any ice out there, but we still rode conservatively. udistrict to dexter & hayes via a game of chicken with the SLUT. then across the aurora bridge and a hobo frogger crossing to phinney ridge and prost.

Of course by the time I was on my way back home I'd forgotten all about the ice, and also the close encounter of the SLUT kind, and wiped my ass out trying to make a right turn off of Summit. Fucking black ice. Now my elbow and hip are all sorts of great colors, and my ankle is a bit swollen from where it hit my cranks when I almost went down on the SLUT.

More bumps and bruises than most pointythree rides, but a good time nonetheless.
