in 30. on thursday. miles and i are bringing trailers and at least one tree. if you've got others in your neighborhood hide them away.

bringing hot cocoa wouldn't be a bad idea either.

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree,
You give us so much pleasure!
How oft at Christmas tide the sight,
O green fir tree, gives us delight!
O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree,
You give us so much pleasure!

I secured my neighbor's tree.

We have two ready to go.

Everyone who comes, bring your trailers or extracycles or racks plus bungie cords.

I'll bring a brush saw and we can have everyone contribute. ;)

I'll be there on my new Fortezza TriComps. Be jealous.
And if you already have them shut up! (That means you Stick!)

I do not have a trailer but I'm sure there will be trees available if someone wants to stop in Bell Town and pick one up from my building.

Are there any lactose-intolerant people that I should be worried about?

Also, does anyone have a nice pot for warming the milk? If not, I'll bring a crummy one of my own.

I AM Irish (albeit via GA) and I vote for the Irish cocoa drinks!!

I'm going to bring some thermoses of a yummy coffee/hot cocoa/baileys/vodka/kahlua drink my sister (who some of you met last Thursday) makes....(Aden, just close your eyes and pretend like there's no milk in it).

only, I probably shouldn't drink too much of it.

At the risk of 'planning' where are bonfires being bonfired these days now that the favorite firepit is no more?

This is a great beverage thread.

I suppose to bring this full circle I'll bring tea, or coffee. Maybe nothing at all.

I just went on a tree-locating mission, and came up empty handed. I think the city is doing a better than average job of dealing with dumped trees.

How about frat row? are there trees dumped in yards there?

I can't ride, but... I have a nice, crispy tree in my driveway if you end up in the northend. Bonfire on the 50 yard-line at Ingraham HS? 13536 Burke Ave N, 98133

I recall MyNameIsJeff mentioning a pile of trees in his parking garage that must be uber crispy by now, since they've been constantly covered. Why don't we make that a stop once the ride's begun, everyone with xtracycles, trailers etc can be sure to load a tree.

Can we make sure to bring some real firewood too? On January first we watched people at Golden Gardens have about 40 different two minute long fires while christmas trees bit it in the form of huge yellow poofs of smoke.

i thought avoiding hills and gravel was what we did when you were out?

and when am i going to get my water bottle back?

anyhow, i'm going to bring fiona along for getting some pallet wood in ballard. i've currently got a line on three or four christmas trees that miles and i can pick up in north seattle before we head down to westlake.

do your part! even without a trailer or an xtracycle you can help carry firewood, bring food & drink to share, etc, etc.
