I have sailed Pelinore a number of times in a number of conditions, and I am not a huge fan of her handling.
Still, her hull is sound, her cockpit enormous, and her interior pretty spartan. She would make a pretty decent project boat for someone looking for a little daysailor or a weekend cruiser. She is probably worth about 1.5-2k and there is nothing wrong with her that amount of dollars won't fix.

I have never been a huge fan of Columbia sailboats. Were I to look at buying a production glass boat of that generation, I would do my damnedest to find something put out by Islander, San Juan (except the 24), Ericson, Island Freeport, or Cal. Of this subset, Islander and Cal are my favoritest by far.
