I was riding to work this morning along Alaskan/Marginal just north of Spokane around 9:30 when I came up on a big accident scene. Another rider who had seen it said that a crane was towing a pickup and the pickup got loose, swerved across the road, hitting the cyclists. I saw one of them being loaded into an ambulance, but didn't get a good look. Hopefully both are ok. When I passed the pickup, I noticed no sign of chains on the hitch in front so there may be some negligence involved. There were some news crews just setting up when I left so I'm sure we'll hear more about this.

damn, I wish that had happened to me. I passed through there about 20min beforehand!
I'd sue the fuck out of the crane operator/truck owner/crane company.

Yeah but that woulda been a class suit with all the other people on the bus and you wouldn't have gotten as much.
