As much as I enjoyed the first Clinton regime, in retrospect I wouldn't want four or eight more years of that brand of policy. Bill's foreign policy basically made this "we're completely dependant on China" bed we're rolling around in now.

Confession: Just registered to vote, online.
Question: The confirmation page states, "Please allow 10-14 days processing time for your registration application to be verified by your county elections office." Does this mean all systems go for the caucus, or no?
Queston: How does one find their precinct # if they, ahem, just registered to vote?

Don't write Hillary off--she's a thinker, true she's not a cheerleader and she's got some history/experience. but history is both a help and a hindrance.
anyway, who cares? any Dem candidate who can be elected (ok, one argument against Hillary, potentially) is great by me.
Let's just meet Razi for beer. We can all agree on that.

What time should we meet? I don't recall the caucuses lasting that long last year (less than 2 hrs).
Should we meet at 5 at Red Square and roll from there?

We have been told for many years that we are becoming more divided as a nation.
We have been made to believe that differences of race and region; wealth and gender; party and religion have separated us into warring factions; into Red States and Blue states made up of individuals with opposing wants and needs; with conflicting hopes and dreams.
It is a vision of America that's been exploited and encouraged by pundits and politicians who need this division to score points and win elections. But it is a vision of America that I am running for President to fundamentally reject - not because of a blind optimism I hold, but because of a story I've lived.
This election is our chance - our moment - to restore the simple dream of those who came before us for another generation of Americans. When a couple of guys said "we're up in no good" Started making trouble in my neighborhood.
I got in one little fight and my mom got scared And said "you're moving with your aunt and uncle in Bel-Air". I whistled for a cab and when it came near the License plate said "Fresh" and had a dice in the mirror.
If anything I could say that this cab was rare. But I thought now forget it, yo home to Bel-Air. I pulled up to a house about seven or eight. And I yelled to the cabby "Yo, home smell you later". Looked at my kingdom I was finally there. To settle my throne as the prince of Bel-Air

If this comes down to the super delegates to decide (which it will) and they swing the decision counter to what the public has decided I will be pissed off. I'm talking "would seriously consider voting for the guy running on the Depends platform" pissed off. The democratic party has set itself up for a total clusterfuck waiting to happen with the whole Michigan/Florida thing.
I bet it gets ugly, and there is a very good chance we take what should be an easy election to fin and fuck it up royally.

and don't forget the Republicans are going to do anything and everything they can to take the election, legal or not.

OOOOOOOOBAMA 08.
My GF was at the event. She did show. She showed up late though. Apparently she is a better speaker in real life than on radio and television, but still lackluster compared to Obama. Or Mr. Clinton for that matter.
live stream from kiro. the mayor and congressman smith just got done, here comes the governor...

Does anyone know where to caucus if you live near Gasworks park??? I've used several internet tools and none of them seem able to tell me. And for some reason they want my last name, even though I'm allowed to register when I get there. So then the name lookup fails, then they tell me to go fuck myself. WHY THE FUCK CAN'T YOU JUST ENTER YOUR ZIP CODE??

Ok, some maps, depending on if you live north, west, or east of the park:
find which map includes your house within the magenta line. ignore the blue line. the top of the map shows the caucus location

Thanks! Too bad my boat on the water is outside the magenta line.... I guess they'll count me anyway.

Warning, danger!
If those screenshots are from http://41dems.org/gmap/caucus.html it may have out of date caucus locations. For example I live in the SEA 43-3320 precinct and that tool reports that Melrose Terrace is where to go. But that's the old location. Sometime in the last few weeks they changed it to the Central Library.
http://www.wa-democrats.org/caucusfinder has up to date locations. You can also call the number on that page but when I tried it was broken. I tried the Obama Seattle office at 206-529-3859 and they had the updated list of locations.
